H&M GIft Card Giveaway and New Store GRAND OPENING!

It's been a while since we've been up and running due to a couple of issues, but what better way to start things up again than with an great giveaway!?

I'm very excited to announce that I'm hosting a super awesome review and giveaway from one of my favorite stores; H&M.So why is H&M giving away gift cards to my readers? It's not just because you are all awesome (even though you are), but because they are opening a brand new store at the mall in Polaris this week!

So let me tell you a little bit about H&M:

H&M makes clothes for all ages. Their clothes are always fashionable and always affordable. You all know that I love a good deal. We often end up shopping at H&M before other stores because we know that we can get great clothes at a great price, even without having to shop only the sale rack! H&M is one of those rare stores that can give you real fashion on a budget. Moms can wear things other than Mom Jeans.

My personal favorite things to shop for at H&M are tops. They always have a huge selection of shirts that are new and interesting compared to other stores. I also buy the majority of my tank tops and basic there because basics are as low as $5.95 everyday. My husband buys a lot of his work clothes there because they sell nice slim styles for younger men. I buy my sons skinny jeans there...because there is nothing cuter than a toddler in skinny jeans.

This week I had the opportunity to take a little shopping trip at the Easton Town Center location. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and mostly shop for pants. I've recently lost some weight (yay!) and don't have a lot of bottoms for fall. I specifically was hoping to find a pair of colored skinnies that I loved. I was pleasantly surprised by not only how many colors were available, but how many textures. After trying on several pair, I fell in love with a pair of coral colored corduroys and made them mine forever and always.

I would highly suggest that anyone check out H&M if they have never been.

Lastly, here's a great deal! Right now if you buy any of the new David Beckam items that H&M has in stock you get 20% off your entire purchase. Prices for these items start at $14.99. So, if you are spending $75 or more, it is worth your while to buy the item. I was spending $75 on my trip so I got my husband a super comfy pair of boxer briefs for free! I can find a deal anywhere!

Farm Rich Frozen Food Review & Giveaway! (2 winners!)

Guess what!? It's time for another giveaway exclusively for my lovely Momma Smells a Deal readers.

So let me tell you a little bit about Farm Rich products. Recently I had the opportunity to try two Farm Rich products of my choice. I choose to try the Cheese Sticks and the Pizza Slices. I found that the products were pretty reasonably priced and came in pretty large bags.

I took them home and decided that they would be the perfect late night snack for my husband and I while we watched a movie. I prepared the Pizza Slices in the microwave and they cooked well. My first impression is that they don't taste like your average frozen product. They weren't overly salty or processed like so many frozen pizza products tend to be. They tasted like something that you could make at home if you had the time...but in a good way. The pepperoni was delicious and the cheese tasted like real cheese.

A couple of days later I made cheese sticks for the entire family to snack on. We cooked them in the oven and they were great. Restaurant quality, and also had a great real cheese flavor.

One of the other things I enjoyed most about the products was the packaging. I know that sounds silly, but the packages reseal nicely, which is a pretty big deal. The packages are large enough that I have made several servings thus far. It's not like I'm just throwing the bag out after the first serving. The fact that they reseal nicely saves me from repackaging them or loosing them to freezer burn.

Overall, here are the pros and cons of the review:

PROS:
-Real Cheese!
-Good sources of calcium
-Easy & Fast to cook
-Resealable packaging that actually works
-Most stores sell Farm Rich products (find a store near you!)
-Fun to eat

CONS:
The only con was that Farm Rich offers a really cool variety of products, but most stores only carry a small selection. I would have loved to try to Philly Cheese Steak or the Queso bites! Mmm.

Who wants free tickets to the Baby Bonanza?!?

Hey local Central Ohio Followers, this giveaway is just for you!

I'm proud to be giving away 2 sets of tickets (2 tickets per set) to the Baby Bonanza and Kids Expo. Trust me, you really want to get your hands on these tickets.

There are so many cool things at the Expo. It's a great place to meet a lot of great exhibitors from your area. There are so many central Ohio services that you may not know about. There are tons of great giveaways (free stuff galore!), samples, information, and fun things to do. Last year some of the booths that I really enjoyed were from Gymboree (where my son played with bubbles and got an adorable free beach ball), Central Ohio Birthworkers (where I got valuable information about natural birth and tons of breastfeeding freebies), Buy Buy Baby (where I checked out tons of cool baby gear), Sams Club (picked up free diaper samples and a highly discounted membership), and a local Chiropractor in Westerville who gave me a free exam. But there were so many other great booths. I could go on and on. Plus the first 100 people in the door get a gift bag stuffed with great stuff. Last year I even got a pair of awesome kid sunglasses!

The expo is taking place this weekend at the Aladdin Shrine Temple in Easton. It's a great place that is stroller friendly and has lots of free parking. Feel free to bring the kids, there are tons of fun activities for little ones. I don't generally like "expo" type events but this really is a ton of fun. I promise that you will not regret going.
